Caring for the Caregivers
Almost everyone attending AHFSA is a caregiver to someone (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, friend). Clinicians in attendance have made it their career to be caregivers. And if you are not a clinician, you have still chosen a public service profession and work to improve the lives of others. How are you taking care of yourself, and how are your co-workers/staff taking care of themselves to continue to do the vital work that you do?

    What strategies is your state agency or team implementing to make remote staff feel included/seen (mental health/DEI)?
    How is your state agency encouraging/facilitating good physical health for its staff?
    What strategies are feasible for good work-life balance?
